This Privacy Policy explains how Morning Max handles information when you use the Morning Max iPhone app.

Information stored on your iPhone

Alarm schedules, onboarding choices, wake-check settings, completion history, and streak information are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes this locally stored app data, subject to normal iPhone backup behavior.

Camera and motion processing

If you choose a camera-based wake check, Morning Max uses Apple’s on-device Vision frameworks to evaluate the active challenge. Object Hunt classifies an object in a captured image. Push-up Pulse reads shoulder, elbow, and wrist body-pose points to count repetitions. Morning Max does not perform face recognition, collect face data, create face templates, or use TrueDepth or Face ID.

Camera frames and captured wake-check images are processed temporarily on your iPhone, remain only in memory for the active challenge, and are discarded when that challenge closes. Morning Max does not upload, remotely store, or share camera data with third parties. If you choose the steps wake check, motion data is used on device to count steps for that challenge and is not uploaded by Morning Max.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. Morning Max never receives your payment card or bank details. The app uses RevenueCat to validate subscription access and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives purchase-history information for app functionality; its SDK declares that this information is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.

Analytics

Morning Max uses PostHog, a third-party product-analytics service, to understand which features are used and improve the app. We record anonymous usage events — for example, which onboarding steps and wake-check screens are reached — associated with a random identifier generated on your device, not with your name, email, or Apple ID. Analytics events never include your photos, camera frames, alarm history, or motion data. We do not create advertising profiles, and PostHog is configured not to build a personal profile of you. What we do not do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not use your information to track you across apps or websites.
• We do not upload wake-check photos, video, alarm history, or motion data.

Service providers

Apple provides alarm scheduling, in-app purchase, and platform services. RevenueCat provides subscription validation and entitlement management. PostHog provides anonymous product analytics. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Children

Morning Max is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
